Beal remains the Wizards leading scorer, averaging 31.4 points per game, which is 0.5 points behind Steph Curry for the NBA lead. Anthony Gill is listed behind Beal on the Wizards depth chart and should be in line for his fifth start of the season.
Getting past the Hawks without their top scorer will be a challenge, but that does create more opportunities for Russell Westbrook as he chases the record for most career triple-doubles. Westbrook tied Oscar Robertson with his 33 points, 19 rebounds, and 15 assists line he put up against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night, with 181 career triple-doubles.
