Jimmy Butler added to Heat’s Injury Report

According to Ira Winderman, Jimmy Butler was a late addition to the Miami Heat’s injury report as he is dealing with a right ankle sprain. If Butler can’t play, it will be all hands on deck as the Heat try and knock off Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.

Butler has played at least 32 minutes in nine of his last ten games, but that hasn’t resulted in increased output. Butler has put up below-average FanDuel Fantasy Points in seven of his last 10, although he put up 65 FanDuel Fantasy Points his last time out, which was his second-highest total on the season.

Andre Iguodala is also listed on the injury report with a hip injury which means that KZ Okpala could be called into action against the Nets. Okpala hasn’t made the most of his time in the starting lineup; he’s averaging 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds as a starter, which is only slightly above his 1.4 points and 1.5 rebounds averages as a sub.

That could mean more opportunities for Bam Adebayo, who has put up below-average fantasy points in five straight games. Adebayo has a $13,000 salary on the single-game slate against the Nets.

The Heat are 5.5 point underdogs against the Nets, as per FanDuel Sportsbook.
