NBA Hopeful To Start 2021-22 Season On Time

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver spoke to reporters ahead of the NBA All-Star Game Saturday. Silver spoke about various topics but noted that he was optimistic that the 2021-22 would start on time.

The NBA is playing catchup after the 2019-20 season spilled into September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That caused a delayed start to the 2020-21 season and no concrete timeline for completing the remainder of the regular season and playoffs. Silver also noted that he was optimistic that the NBA would complete the 2020-21 playoffs without disruption.

At +280, the Los Angeles Lakers are odds-on favorites to win the NBA Finals in 2021. The Brooklyn Nets are close behind at +300.
