The Nationals activated Erick Fedde from the COVID list Saturday, NBCSportsEdge.com reports. Fedde is starting Game 1 of the doubleheader versus the Giants. Fedde had been out of the lineup since mid-May.
Kolten Wong is expected to return to the Brewers during their next road trip, which begins on Thursday, RotoWire.com reports. Wong is on the injured list due to an oblique injury.
Yoan Moncada is out of the starting lineup for the White Sox on Saturday, RotoWire.com reports. Moncada is just being given the day off as he has struggled in June, hitting .212 with one home run in 33 at-bats.
The Giants have activated Mike Yastremski from the IL on Saturday, NBCSportsEdge.com reports. Yastremski only missed the minimum amount of time due to a sprained right thumb. Yastremski was in the starting lineup and batting second in Game 1 of the doubleheader versus the Nationals on Saturday.
Xander Bogaerts is out of the lineup for a second straight game Saturday due to a knee injury, NBCSportsEdge.com reports. Bogaerts is not expected to need a stint on the IL, but he could miss another game or two before getting in the starting lineup.
Jacob deGrom was able to throw Saturday, NBCSportsEdge.com reports. The Mets had pulled deGrom from his start Friday due to a forearm injury. He was diagnosed with flexor tendonitis and had a precautionary MRI to ease all concerned. It is not yet known if deGrom will make his next start Wednesday versus the Cubs.
