Spurs Guard Dejounte Murray Available On Wednesday Against Nuggets

Jeff McDonald, the Spurs beat writer for the San Antonio Express-News, reports that guard Dejounte Murray should be available for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.

Murray has been hampered by a sore foot — painful enough to keep him out of Monday’s game against the Cavaliers. The Spurs actually lost the game 125-101, so they likely could have used Murray’s 15.7 points, 7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game.

The Spurs will now head to Denver on a three-game losing streak. They’re currently listed as a seven-point underdog in the matchup but have covered their last four games on the road.

They’ve also been successful in their last 25 games on the road in Denver as they’re gone 17-8 against the spread (ATS) in this spot. The only problem is that the Spurs are running into a Denver team on a six-game winning streak with a 5-1 ATS mark during that span.
